Living with the Royal Air Force
On some occasions Cadets will be given the opportunity to fly in operational aircraft. Often these flights take place on Air Force Summer camps and have allowed cadets to fly in Royal Air Force Nimrod, Wessex, Sea-King, Hawk, Hercules, VC-10 and Tornado training aircraft.

While many of these flights are a short 20 - 30 minutes, flights on larger aircraft can extend for several hours and cover significant distances. Typically Cadets on Summer Camps will also get to fly with local Air Experience Flights in the Grob G115 Tutor or Gliding in the Grob Vigilant or Viking.
