Welcome to the web pages of the Merseyside Wing Air Cadets! The Air Cadets offer a chance for young men and women to get actively involved with all aspects of aviation, to become good citizens and to foster the spirit of adventure. In the spirit of our motto "Venture Adventure" we offer young people between the ages of 13- 18 an opportunity to sample different types of activities including flying, gliding, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and a wide range of sports. In addition to experiencing the activities listed above, Cadets are encouraged to take classes in aerodynamics, propulsion, navigation and other aviation related subjects to move through the Air Cadet Classifications. Later, Cadets can gain promotion to Corporal right through to the highest ranking - Cadet Warrant Officer.
