Introduction
  We fly the Grob Tutor T1, only recently introduced into service - we took delivery of our aircraft at the start of October 2000. Unusually these aircraft carry civilian registrations and are serviced by a contractor, VT Aerospace, which both owns and maintains all ninety Tutors used by the RAF.

Recognition:
  Single-engined low-wing monoplane. Fixed tricycle undercarriage with small fairing covering the wheels. Short nose. Large glazed area cabin with 2 windows each side. Tapered wings with square tips. Large fin and rudder with oblong tailplane with square tips set at base of fin.

Other:
  The instruments and navigation equipment equipment give the aircraft full day/night capability. It has sufficient power to perform all positive aerobatic manoeuvres without significant height loss. Inverted fuel and oil systems allow at least 3 minutes inverted flight.
