A source of fun and friendly competition for our cadets is the wide range of sport organised within the ATC. These sports are played at Squadron, Wing, Region, Corps and inter-cadet service level.

While there is no doubt that the Air Cadets is a lot of fun, it remains true to its military heritage. Cadets are expected to keep their uniforms in first class condition and will be taught to drill with the rest of the squadron. Cadets will also perform public displays including marches and many squadrons also have a marching band.
On an annual basis Cadets from Merseyside Squadrons come together for a drill competition where teams are judged on the standards of their uniforms and the accuracy of their drilling.
